Urban leadership

I've been meaning to blog this for awhile, but I keep forgetting. Recently, I put together a presentation for our final group project in CL617 - Urban Leadership. We used a brief interview with the pastor of my church The Rock / La Roca UMC, as well as a music slideshow at the end. The guys from my group had really great stuff to say in our presentation, and Dale came up with the cool name "Team Fujo" (fujo means chaos in Swahili).

I did various graphic backgrounds, etc. We presented it all from one big PowerPoint file, so that we could go through the presentation seamlessly (hypothetically) from beginning to end and not have to exit PowerPoint.

I've made the project available for download because I feel that there was some very good content in there, as pertains to doing a new church restart in an urban context. If that sounds cryptic to you, download the presentation and learn more. If you are on dialup and would rather not download a huge file, let me know and maybe I can send it to you on CD. Anyway, here's the file…

Or, if you'd just like to view the interview, there's a much smaller file at my church's site…

Note: This presentation works best in PowerPoint XP or newer, and had some issues with the timing being off when viewed on a Mac. If you found this presentation helpful, let me know. Or, if you thought it was terrible, let me know that too, via the comment link below…
