Echo Conference

I am posting this on behalf of my friends at Igniter Media. They were kind enough to put me on the roster as a speaker for their upcoming conference, so I figure the least I can do is let people know about it. Along with my friend Christian Bradford, I will be teaching a breakout session entitled Triple Code Crunch, covering the essentials of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Topics will include jQuery, YUI and the 960 Grid System, plus core concepts like accessibility, semantics, microformats — and more!

This August, church media lovers will unite in Dallas, TX for the very first Echo Church Media Conference. ECHO will encompass all things media — visual, web, music, technology — and hopes to resound the truth of Christ through the power of media and technology. It will be a gathering place for church leaders to discover new and creative forms and uses of media. ECHO hopes to inspire church leaders to creatively use media to serve the church body and to reach those outside the church.

The conference will be August 14-16 at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, TX. Keynote speakers include: Donald Miller, Mark Batterson, Matthew Paul Turner, Brad Abare, Todd Wagner, and Mark Steele. There will also be numerous breakout sessions covering creating media, editing video, web 2.0, visual worship, worship resources, and everything in between.
