Hudson Wayne Smith

I hope that everyone had a good Christmas, and is enjoying the new year thus far. Personally, I must say that this season will be one for the books, because my wife and I welcomed the first addition into our family. Hudson Wayne Smith was born on December 29th, 2008 at 8:48 AM. He weighed 7 lbs, 5 oz. He is 19” tall. He is ½ Russian, ¼ Japanese, ¼ Scotch Canadian.

Fellowship (of the) Tech

— Topic: Personal

Today marks one week at my new job, as a User Experience Developer at Fellowship Technologies. A few weeks ago, a third party recruiter from the Rowland Group named Jessica Wilson contacted me on their behalf, asking if I’d be interested in a faith based organization in the DFW area. Initially, I was skeptical because many IT recruiters can’t tell Java from JavaScript, but she seemed well versed in the subject matter, so I decided it might be worth looking into.

Realistically, we have already stopped doing anything with IE6 in mind, we’re just talking through making it our “official” stance not to support it.

Sumo Sultan

Over the past years, the Omni has become one of my favorite lounging places.
